Noxious Weeds

The main duties performed by this branch of the department include:

Identifying plants for landholders;

Private property weeds inspections;

Noxious weeds spray control program along roadsides;

Conducting noxious weeds education programs.
This branch predominantly works under the Noxious Weeds Act 1993 and the Local Government Act 1993.

Council is a member of the Northern Inland Weeds Advisory Committee: www.niwac.org
