Recreational and Open Spaces

The main duties performed by this branch of the department include:

Maintain and beautify Council owned parks and garden areas within the Local Government Area;

Develop new parks, gardens and sporting fields;

Monitor safety issues within the community’s open space areas;

Provide private works jobs for members of the community (Call Council for private services available and hourly labour rates);

Maintain and provide services for all cemeteries within the LGA.
