Swim Centres
The main duties performed by this branch of the department include:

Provide supervised swimming and recreational activities for the towns of Glen Innes, Emmaville and visitors to the area;

Conduct swimming lessons;

Hold competitive swimming carnivals and weekly swimming club meets;

Educate members of the community in safe practices both in and around the pool.
Council provides two (2) swim centres:
- Glen Innes Swim Centre;
- Emmaville Swim Centre.
Glen Innes Swim Centre
Open: Early October to end of March.
Early Morning Session (weekdays): 6:30am to 8:00am.
Daily Hours: 10:30am to 6:00pm.
Public Holidays (excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day): 10:30am to 6:00pm.
Closed: Christmas Day, Boxing Day and the morning session of other Public Holidays.
Note: If the weather is unsuitable the pool may be closed.

Emmaville Swim Centre

Daily Hours: Monday to Friday 11:00am to 6:30pm.
Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays 10am to 6:00pm.
Closed: Christmas Day.
