Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library are a group of committed community volunteers, who donate their time and efforts to support the library. Some of their activities are:
- hosting library functions
- running an annual book sale
- organising fundraisers
- covering and processing new resources
- running monthly storytelling sessions
The Friends meet on the first Friday of the month, from 9-10 am in the Conference Room of the Glen Severn Learning Centre. If you would like to join the Friends, please fill out an application form and pay a small membership fee. Forms can be obtained from your library. Your application and membership fee can be given to the library staff, or posted to:
